„This album came about on a long and sometimes hard, often painful, but also empowering and loving run through life. Sometimes I don’t even know if the songs were created while running away from the world or
from myself. I’ve been on the run since I left home at the age of 14, so first and foremost, I want to thank all the people who have supported me every second on my way.“ - Lina Jacobs about her debut album "ON THE RUN" (2023).

Originated from a young GenZ musician collective, which sees itself as a countercurrent to EDM, is aesthetically very far away from auto tune and electronic gadgets and focuses on the music of past generations.

The songs of Me & Ms Jacobs are turbulent, stormy but also political. The front singer embeds the biographical lyrics in a vintage rock and soul pop sound, with which she creates a vibe that not only sets the body, but above all the hearts, vibrations that are unique to all of us.

The sound of Me & Ms Jacobs is characterized by a driving groove that is strongly reminiscent of the 60s/70s and which aims to give expression to real life. "A healthy mix of melancholy and rock'n'roll", as the band describes itself.

The resulting mix of danceable upbeat songs and quiet ballads is 100% live music that deserves to be played on the stages of clubs and festivals around the world.

From the complete line-up with brass section, through the core band (guitar, bass, drums) to simple guitar accompaniment, the band presents a very complex concert experience that lets the audience vibrate even after the concert and reverberates for a long time.

Lina Jacobs and the band sink into their element when they put their view of the world bluntly and hopelessly honest in a musically very organic shell and invite you to become a part of this world.
