Biography

The TransAtlantic Club Orchestra (TACO) is a musical journey across continents. Founded in 2018, the band fuses the vibrant traditions of Latin America with the hypnotic energy of European club culture. What began as an experiment quickly evolved into an international act, with milestones including performances at Fusion Festival, 3000Grad Festival, a celebrated night supporting Orishas at Munich’s legendary Muffathalle, and a tour through Mexico City with Nortec Collective.

The three performance artists have already been playing together with Banda Senderos for over ten years and are now returning to the TACO project after a creative break. Their single “Everyday”, a collaboration with Che Sudaka, is out on Greek label The Hubsters. Che Sudaka – the legendary Argentine-Spanish band known worldwide for their explosive fusion of ska, punk, and Latin rhythms – inject their unmistakable energy into the track. The result is a vibrant blend of Cumbia, electronic beats, and a touch of pop: a cross-continental anthem radiating pure dancefloor energy.

To accompany the release, concerts are in the works that will bring this collaboration to life on stage. The music of TACO thrives on earthy percussion, traditional instruments, deep electronic grooves, and flowing synths – creating an organic, hypnotic flow that ignites dance floors and open-air stages alike.

TACO’s sound is both deeply rooted in tradition and boldly open to global influences: a transcontinental soundtrack for a new world – organic, electronic, boundless.
