Rebel Babel

The Rebel Babel Ensemble is an innovative international orchestra of orchestras. Travelling around the world, plays concerts, inviting local musicians - both professionals and students as well as amateurs, regional bands and communities excluded from participation in culture. Within a few years, it connected over 11,000 musicians from 16 countries.

By participating in many festivals (Open'er Festival, Pohoda Fest, Masala Fest) and performances preceded by workshops, it fulfills the dreams of young musicians, connecting them on stages with top artists. The orchestra plays for peace and dialogue, emphasizing the role of community, ecology and cultivating the tradition of playing the live instruments.

Rebel Babel Ensemble combines musical genres (hip-hop, folk, jazz, world music), but also languages and generations, building cultural bridges between the nations of the world.

Its film section, Rebel Babel Film Orchestra, scores movies with a huge variety of world music sounds. Currently working on the music for the latest painted film Chłopi - creators of the Oscar-nominated "Loving Vincent".
