Biography

Electric Swing Circus take the 1920s and bring them into the 2020s: influences from swing and jazz meet breakbeat, house, reggae and dubstep.

Two strong female voices combined with double bass, samples, gypsy jazz guitar, keyboards, synths and drums polished with this UK-esque slightly dirty touch redefine the genre Electro Swing!

Forming in Birmingham in 2011, the 6-piece band released their crowdfunded first album in the summer of 2013 and their second "It Flew By" in 2017, a breakthrough that has taken them to international stages in over 20 countries and collaborations with Jamie Berry, Parov Stelar and Caravan Palace among others. Her third album "Pleasure Seekers" was released in March 2022 and has taken her songwriting and output to another level: The energetic performance is underlined by their carefully crafted songwriting that encourages people to join in, inviting you on a weightless journey through a window of self-reflection, the world and outer space.

ESC have carved their own inimitable path over the past decade, earning a reputation as UK festival heavyweights. With their innovative brand of escapist electro-swing, soaring pop vocals, intricate jazz instrumentation and pulsating, danceable electronics, they are an acrobatic whirlwind for any dance floor!
