Born in Minas gerais the singer and songwriter Bia Ferreira conquered Brazil with the song "cota nao é esmola" (racial quotas are not charity), an anti-racist resistance anthem. Mixing gospel, rap and reggae the concert from the album "Igreja Lesbiteriana, O chamado" (Lesbiterian Church, The call) was released in 2019 aiming to use information into creating an anti-racist revolution with a raise of the LGBTI+ protagonism.
Her voice has already echoed in many countries around the world such as Germany, Portugal, Spain, France and Mexico with great praise also on the national scene. Bia's art manifest already made into some great stages like Pulse redbull Music (Sao Paulo), Favela Sounds (Brasilia), Oi STU Open (Rio de Janeiro) and Festival Morrostock (Rio Grande do Sul).
Accompanied by mostly female and black musicians, Bia Ferreira creates music that transcends the body and touches the spirit.
